Apple will raise the price of iPhone, Mac, and iPad battery

Apple announced on its website that the cost of replacing batteries for all out-of-warranty iPhones will rise beginning in March. Customers who do not have AppleCare or AppleCare + for their devices will be affected by the price increase. Customers with AppleCare + do not have to pay for a battery replacement once their battery health has dropped below 80%.

Cost of Apple battery replacement

The current Battery Service fee for out-of-warranty iPhone 14 series is $99 (approximately Rs 8,200), $69 (approximately Rs 5,700) for iPhone 13 and older full-screen iPhones, and $49 (approximately Rs 5,700) for iPhones with the home button (over Rs 4,000). Other countries and regions (likely including India) will see price increases for battery replacements at the same time.
