Chris Kruse murder and obituary, Jan Pigman-Kruse’s husband

On August 19, 2015, early in the morning, the body of JAN Pigman-Kruse was found. He had been shot. Pigman-Kruse’s husband and children, Christopher and Bailey Kruse, are the only people who will remember her. Christopher Kruse is the husband of the late Jan Pigman-Kruse. He was born and raised in Worthington, Minnesota.

When Jane graduated from Worthington Community College, Chris met her. Jane and Chris got married on October 7, 1995. Five years later, they had Bailey Kruse, their first and only child.

Christopher Kruse got a lot of attention when he was named the main suspect in the murder of his wife in 2015. On August 19, 2015, around 2:30 a.m., Christopher heard a loud bang.

After being startled awake by a noise, he found that an unknown person had broken into their Brewster, Minnesota, home and shot and killed his wife. Chris Kruse was charged with killing his wife in the first degree in March 2019. At the scene, two 12-gauge shotgun shells that matched Kruse’s shotgun were found.

But on February 13, 2020, Crews was found not guilty after an eight-day trial with 41 witnesses and 12 hours of juror deliberation. Chris is in a 2-hour episode of Jane’s Dead 2020 that was shown on NBC’s Dateline.

On March 19, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. ET, the story will be shown again on NBC as part of Dateline Weekend NBC. After Cruise was found not guilty of killing his wife, he and his daughter moved back to Worthington.

Since the trial, Cruise has kept his personal life quiet, but his daughter has made some progress since her mother died. Bailey Kruse finished high school in 2018 and is now a student at the University of Minnesota, Rochester. She also played ice hockey for 12 years with the Worthington team.
