A 27-year-old man allegedly died in Puerto Rico on Tuesday after falling from a 70-foot cliff in Cabo Rojo, according to a report from the U.S. Coast Guard. Indiana visitor Edgar Garay had travelled to the coast for the day.

The Coast Guard, Puerto Rico Joint Forces, Puerto Rico Emergency Bureau, and Puerto Rico Emergency Medical Services Corps Bureau among other authorities searched day and night.

The Coast Guard reported that Garay was last seen alive at the incident site, which is near to a lighthouse, shortly after 5:30 p.m. local time on Sunday. More than an hour later, a 911 emergency operator alerted the Coast Guard that something might have happened to the man. When the Coast Guard watchstanders later arrived at the scene, a witness informed them that she had seen Garay stumble toward the cliff’s edge. And his body was found on Monday in the late afternoon.
