Bryan Kohberger, a 28-year-old criminology student, was arrested by the FBI and the Pennsylvania State Police on December 30, 2022, for the alleged murders he committed with Valerie Cipollina revealing his irate nature in jail

Crime he committed in the early hours of November 13, 2022, of four fellow students at the University of Idaho: Ethan Chapin, 20, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Kaylee Goncalves, 21.

Inmate Valerie Cipollina reveals Bryan Kohberger exposed himself to her in prison

Kohberger was hauled before a court in Monroe County and ordered to be jailed without bail on four counts of first-degree murder. A female prisoner who was held in close proximity to him after his detention said that he shouted at her and exposed himself to her.

During her six hours in the Monroe County Jail on a domestic violence arrest on New Year’s Eve, Valerie Cipollina, 50, told DailyMail that Kohberger said, “I cut them, I’ll cut you.” He allegedly yelled at one guard saying, ‘You come in here and I’ll cut you. I’m going to pee on your face. Do what you want with me, I don’t give a s**t.’”

She was unaware who Bryan Kohberger was at the beginning

While Cipollina initially claimed she was unaware of who he was, she later heard a different inmate say, “That’s the guy who killed those college students. He was “tall, skinny, and young-looking,” as Cipollina put it, and she said he kept trying to expose himself to her by lifting his shirt.

She noted that she could see Bryan Kohberger through the polycarbonate glass window of his detention cell, but that she was unable to view his genitals due to the limited depth to which the glass wall extended.

According to her account, Kohberger responded to the jailer who was standing outside his cell and instructed him to calm down by shouting,  “Come on in motherf***er. You come in here – let’s talk.”

Bryan Kohberger required a participant for his crime research

An individual by the name o Criminology Student, who has since deleted their Reddit post titled “Research Participation Needed,” was looking for recent offenders to interview about their “thoughts and feelings during your experience.”

The article identified Bryan Kohberger of DeSales University as the “student investigator” in charge of the investigation. A first degree murder warrant was issued for Kohberger, 28, and he was detained on Friday in Pennsylvania, according to arrest records filed in Monroe County. Insider has learned through court documents that he will be extradited to Idaho.

Following the description was a link to an anonymous survey, in which both the participants’ identities and responses would be kept secret. Screenshots of the poll shared on Facebook show that it asked respondents about their motivations, the process of committing the crime, and how they felt about it afterwards.

Bryan Kohberger was a post-graduate student at DeSales University when this was written. DeSales University’s graduating brochure from earlier in 2022 states that he earned a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice. Washington State University’s graduate student directory for the field of criminal justice and criminology lists Kohberger as a current Ph.D. candidate.
