The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has returned to the ministry from the monastery after an eight-month of being away.
Vantage News reported in October 2022, that the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Callistus Onaga, had transferred Mbaka from his ministry to the monastery.
Mbaka’s adoration ministry was also shut down.
The embattled Catholic priest was subsequently banned by the Catholic Diocese of Enugu from making comments on political issues.
The church has since reopened with the ministry turned into Catholic Chaplaincy.
