Nicole Kidman not only showed her support for fellow Aussie Hugh Jackman on Broadway, but she also dug deep into her pockets to make a generous donation to a charity close to his heart.

Over the weekend, the actress was among the thousands who caught Jackman’s The Music Man extravaganza at New York’s The Winter Garden Theatre.

During a break in his performance, the X-Men alum began an auction for his signed hat, with proceeds going to Broadway Cares – a nonprofit US organisation that provides medications, health care, meals and more to people in need.
