The beginning of the year marks the start of the awards season, and while most of the awards are honoring the best of Hollywood in 2022, the Golden Raspberry or the Razzie Awards are here to recognize the ‘worst’ of films and performances of the last year.
The nominations for the awards have now been announced in categories including worst actor and actress, worst supporting actor and actress, worst director, worst screen couple, worst screenplay, worst remake or sequel, and worst picture. This year, the winners will be declared on Oscars Eve, i.e., March 11. Read on to know the full list of nominees.
Razzie Awards 2023 Nominations
Andrew Dominik’s fictional Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde is leading the nominations list with eight nods, including worst picture, worst director, and worst screenplay. The film is followed by Disney’s live-action Pinocchio (6 nods), Morbius (5 nods), and The King’s Daughter (3 nods).
Oscar winner Tom Hanks has received two nominations for worst actor and worst supporting actor. Pete Davidson has also been named in the same categories. The youngest nominee on the list is Firestarter actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong, at only 12 years of age. The full list of nominees is as below:
