Surprising A-Lister declared Australia’s top influencer

Mediaweek clarifies that the list is not simply “a list of Australia’s top influencers, but rather a list of who has the most influence on the Australian public on social media.”

They complied data from media intelligence and data analytics company, Meltwater, and filtered it using specific criteria, including that they must be an Australian with a “creator” or “business” profile on Instagram, a minimum of 400,000 followers across all social media platforms, a minimum of 30 per cent Australian audience or at least 14 per cent, when the individual’s following is beyond 3 million, and their influence score is above 98.
