Season 3 of the hit Apple TV+ comedy series Ted Lasso is scheduled to premiere in spring 2023. The first look of the third season of the show has been revealed and the fans of the series can’t keep their calm.

The third season of the hit show Ted Lasso is coming to your screens soon! The first look for season 3 has also been revealed by the streaming platform Apple TV. The first image from the third season was dropped on the official social media handles of Apple TV.

In the first image shared by Apple TV, Ted Lasso (played by Jason Sudeikis), and Nathan Shelley (essayed by Nick Mohammed) can be seen facing each other eye-to-eye after becoming rivals in the season 2 finale.

The photograph showed Ted wearing a blue sweater paired with a white shirt, smiling while staring at Nate who is pictured in an all-black ensemble with a more serious stare down.

The news came out of Apple’s presentation during the Television Critics Association’s winter 2023 press tour. Then, Ted Lasso creator Bill Lawrence and writer/star Brett Goldstein were also a part of the panel to talk about their upcoming series Shrinking.

During the panel, when they were asked about Ted Lasso, Lawrence remained mum about the third season of the show but said, “I’ve seen cuts, and it’s fucking amazing.” On the other hand, Brett emphasized his pride in the season.

Will season 3 be the end of the show ‘Ted Lasso’?

As of this moment, it has not been confirmed whether season 3 will mark the end of the show Ted Lasso or not. For a long time, the fans of the show have believed that the third season will be the end of the hit show Ted Lasso. It’s all because of the remarks made by the cast members of the show in the past.

During a 2021 interview with Entertainment WeeklyJason stated that he saw a three-season arc for the series but would potentially be open to making more, meanwhile Bill Lawrence told the Sunday Times that season 3 of the show was being written as a curtain call.

In a June 2022 interview with the Sunday TimesBill told the media outlet, “We are writing it like that. It was planned as three [seasons].” Even Hannah Waddingham, who plays the role of AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton, in the show Ted Lasso told Entertainment Weekly, that Ted Lasso was “too beautiful” to end so quickly.

Waddingham told the publication, “If I were Apple and Warner Bros., I’d be leaning on [Jason Sudeikis] like a lunatic and putting him in a corner in a little cage and giving him a notebook and a pen.”
