The MMA community is still waiting for an Aljamain Sterling vs. Henry Cejudo Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight title fight to be announced.
Both fighters have already stated that they will fight next, it’s just a matter of when. March 2023 appears to be a likely target date, and according to Cejudo’s YouTube channel, he’s all signed and ready to go, just waiting on the current champion. Follow For More Updates at Kuri007.com

Sean O’Malley, the No. 1 ranked contender, is also waiting for his shot and expects to fight the winner of the match. Despite the frustrating delay in getting the title film into production, O’Malley understands where reservations may be coming from.
“Perhaps July or December… that’s what I did [in 2022]. We’ll see what happens. Nothing has changed [in terms of the title fight]. ‘Aljo’ posted a picture with the caption, ‘Training for ‘Sugar,’ or something. ‘Hey, done deal on my part,’ Henry says out loud. Whenever. ‘February, March, or April, whenever you want.’

“So it’s ‘Aljo’ who isn’t fighting,” he continued. “We’ve discussed it several times. I don’t believe it’s about money. I believe he literally does not want to go to camp. For me, it’s as if I’m in the mindset of, ‘I don’t want to go into camp.’ I’ve been in situations where I wasn’t mentally prepared to enter a f—king camp. That would be terrible, and he’s being forced into this fight. He’s probably enjoying being champion because he knows it won’t last. For the latest news, follow us on Google News
Sterling and O’Malley’s most recent victories came on the same card, UFC 280, in October 2022. Before Sterling successfully defended his title for the second time, defeating T.J. Dillashaw via second-round technical knockout with ground-and-pound punches (watch highlights), O’Malley defeated Petr Yan via massive split decision (watch highlights). Cejudo, on the other hand, is returning from a retirement that followed his title defence against Dominick Cruz in May 2020.
