The hottest categories right now are low-cost truly wireless earphones and smartwatches. There are numerous options available. For a long time, I avoided them out of fear of poor quality. But, when Truke BTG X1 recently approached me about reviewing one of their latest TWS earbuds, I agreed so that I could get a taste of such products.

The company sent me their latest Truke BTG X1. BTG stands for ‘Born to Game,’ for those who are unfamiliar. Truke has released a new line of wireless earbuds aimed at mobile gamers. Follow For More Updates at Kuri007.com

I don’t play video games. As a result, I only used the product on a regular basis. I believe most users will do the same because the earbuds are so reasonably priced that even non-gamers will buy them. The Truke BTG X1 is officially priced at $1,499 ($18). However, it is frequently available for only 999 ($12).

Now that that’s out of the way, let me tell you about my experience with the product. Before I begin, I’d like to point out that Truke had no editorial input or early access to this article.

Hands-On Truke BTG X1 Experience

The Truke BTG X1 has a stylish design. It has the appearance of a black pebble. The lid features Truke branding and is easy to open and close with one hand, as well as a regulatory sticker at the bottom. A USB Type-C charging port is located on the back.

Twenty RGB LED lights surround the lid. On the front, there is also an X-shaped LED light. The right earbud even has a tiny RGB LED light. When you open and close the case, these lights illuminate. Unfortunately, these lights cannot be customised.

Hands-On Truke BTG X1 Experience

In terms of design, the buds resemble AirPods but are branded with Truke. They have an open-ear design, so no silicone tips are included.

By 2024, Apple plans to release low-cost AirPods for under $100

Both the buds and the case are very light. The buds do not appear to be in the ears. They are comfortable and fit well in my ears. In any case, your experience may differ because no two people’s ears are the same. Though the product is attractive, the build quality feels cheap, which matches the price tag.

The same is true for the audio quality. I thought the output was adequate for the price. I could say the same thing about the microphones. Surprisingly, the buds must be turned up to 70% volume or higher to be audible.

Furthermore, I found the touch controls on the buds to be complicated due to the numerous options. You cannot also disable touch controls. As a result, I was constantly subjected to unintentional touches.
