Born in 1981, in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom, Malcolm Storer attended school before moving to London to pursue an education in journalism at University College London. While pursuing his education, Storer developed a passion for football. Since then, he began attending matches at Greenwich Avenue Stadium every week as a season ticket holder. When he completed his graduation, he started writing about non-league football for several publications that include Guardian and The Non-League Paper.
