The tenth season of the FIA World Rallycross Championship, an auto racing championship recognised by the FIA as the top level of international rallycross, will take place in 2023. Johan Kristoffersson won the driver’s title for the fifth time in the previous edition in 2022.

For the first time under that name, Kristoffersson Motorsport won the teams’ title. The championship in 2023 will return outside Europe for the first time since 2019 and will also return to Africa for two rounds. With that being said, let’s discover everything about the upcoming World Rally Championship 2023.

Rallycross will return home for the third round of the season, which will take place in Britain for the first time since 2019.

The championship then moves to Belgium, returning to Mettet, one of the original WRX tracks, for the first time since 2018, rather than Spa-Francorchamps as in recent years. Round five of the tournament will be held at the redesigned version of the always-popular Montalegre, Portugal. The iconic track of Estering in Germany will also make its comeback in the championship for round 6.

For the first time in the competition’s brand-new electric era, the championship’s final rounds will take place outside of Europe. And last, the series travels to Asia for a round at a location that has not yet been revealed. The 2023 World Rallycross Championship will begin on June 17in Hell, Norway.
